Job Description

As an RPA Architect, you'll be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing robotic process automation solutions to streamline business processes and improve efficiency. You'll work closely with stakeholders to understand their requirements and translate them into scalable RPA solutions. Additionally, you'll provide technical leadership and guidance to RPA developers and project teams.


What You'll Be Doing

  • Design end-to-end RPA solutions that meet business requirements and align with enterprise architecture standards. Identify automation opportunities and recommend appropriate RPA tools and technologies.
  • Provide technical leadership and expertise in RPA development methodologies, best practices, and coding standards. Mentor RPA developers and guide them in implementing complex automation workflows.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders, process owners, and subject matter experts to gather requirements, assess feasibility, and prioritize automation initiatives. Communicate technical concepts and solutions effectively to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Lead the development and implementation of RPA bots, ensuring they are robust, scalable, and maintainable. Oversee the configuration of RPA tools, integration with existing systems, and testing of automation workflows.
  • Establish governance frameworks and standards for RPA development, including version control, documentation, and security best practices. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and data privacy policies.
  • Monitor and evaluate the performance of deployed RPA bots, identify opportunities for optimization and enhancement, and implement changes as needed. Stay abreast of emerging RPA trends, technologies, and best practices.

Location and Travel Details

This is a remote position with occasional travel (if needed).


Profile of Success

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • At least 2 years of experience with pre-sales efforts to contribute toward business growth.
  • Proven experience in designing and implementing RPA solutions using leading RPA platforms such as UiPath, Automation Anywhere, or Blue Prism.
  • Strong understanding of process automation concepts, including process discovery, workflow design, bot development, and deployment.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as C#, Java, or Python, with experience in scripting and automation.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with the ability to analyze complex business processes and identify automation opportunities.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders and build consensus.
  • Relevant certifications in RPA platforms and methodologies (e.g., UiPath Certified RPA Developer, Automation Anywhere Certified Advanced RPA Professional) are desirable.

Desirable Skills

  • Significant programming experience in both traditional and front-end languages.
  • Familiarity with Dynamics 365.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft's Success by Design.
