Job Description:

Must be able to work on weekends - Shift schedule is for Friday to Monday. Responsible for managing and communicating with the team Safety, Quality, People, and overall Costs related information and expectations of the department.Must understand and know the processes and equipment's for the whole area of responsibility, so you'll know how to strategize the WIP to meet schedules, to maximize productivity and optimize utilization of manpower, resources and equipment. Supervise and direct production crews, providing ongoing coaching and feedback, as well as daily, weekly and annual performance objectives. Must have a strong interpersonal, communication, problem solving skills to establish effective working relationships within Microchip. Responsible for keeping a matrix of daily activity, reporting, passdown, and tracking of overall departmental goals. Must be a leader and an example to the team in following all company policies and labor laws. Responsible for employees developmental plans and training/cross training. Must be a coach to the team. Responsible for completion of all required Supervisor trainings. Responsible for timely updating, correcting and approval of employee timecards and vacation requests through Workday. .

Requirements/Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years college degree
  • 10 years in industry experience
  • 2 to 3 years of leadership/supervisory experience
  • Must have experience in test floor /production.

Pay Range:

We offer a total compensation package that ranks among the best in the industry. It consists of competitive base pay, restricted stock units, and quarterly bonus payments. In addition to these components, our package includes health benefits that begin day one, retirement savings plans, and an industry leading ESPP program with a 2 year look back feature. The annual base salary range for this position, which could be performed in California, is $66,560 - $117,000.*

*Range is dependent on numerous factors including job location, skills and experience.
