Job Summary: As an Infusion Pharmacy Technician III, performs both baseline duties (including those of a Pharmacy Technician II) as well as specialized technician duties as determined by departmental leadership. Able to train new pharmacy technicians. Competent to staff in at least two specialized areas/locations as determined by departmental leadership.

Qualifications:

-High school diploma, certificate, or equivalent combination of work experience and education.

-Active National Pharmacy Technician Certification (PTCB) required.

-Current registration as a Pharmacy Technician with the District of Columbia Board of Pharmacy is required.

-Minimum of 2 years of pharmacy technician experience in applicable specialized institutional pharmacy areas as determined by departmental leadership.

-Sterile Compounding experience is also required.

Shift: Full-Time. This is primarily a day shift position that will rotate between the following shifts on a weekly basis: 6:30a-3p, 7:30a-4pm & 9a-5:30p. Applicant must also be able to work occasional evenings, weekends & holidays.
