JOB SUMMARY |
Provide overall technical management on assigned project from bid preparation through final acceptance by client.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS |
- Must possess working knowledge of construction management fundamentals and principles at a level normally acquired through teh completion of a four-year degree in construction management, engineering or related field; and
- 5+ years construction management with emphasis in low voltage projects.
- 5+ years' experience in various aspects of construction (technology, equipment, methods); craft agreements, jurisdiction, negotiations; engineering, estimating, schedules and safety required.
- 5+ years of Integrated Systems experience such as fire alarm, building management systems, lighting control, security, nurse call, CCTV, A/V, MATV and voice/data required.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS |
- Familiarity with Accubid is preferred.
- Must have a safe driving record and a valid driver's license according to legal requirements.
- NICET, BICSI, RCDD and OSHA 10 certifications are preferred.
- System design capability in voice/data, fire alarm, security, and CCTV is preferred.

- Requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize and complete projects on schedule & on budget.
- Advanced knowledge and skills in the use of various Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Excellent communication and supervisory skills are essential.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES |
- Provide overall technical management on assigned project from bid preparation through final acceptance by client.
- Supervise total construction effort to ensure project is constructed in accordance with design, electrical codes & standards, budget, and schedule.
- Works closely with clients and/or owner's representatives on assigned projects.
- Plan, coordinate and supervise on-site functions (scheduling, engineering, material control, and may provide day-to-day direction of onsite administrative staff.
- Supervise craft employees by working closely with the on-site foreman. May have to supervise work of other contractors as required by the contract.
- Ensure timely and accurate completion of all project documentation including but not limited to correspondence, billing, purchase orders, change orders, submittals, schedules, etc.
- Investigate any situations with potential project impacts, mitigate wherever possible and initiate correcting actions as necessary.
- Provide technical assistance (i.e., interpretations of drawings and recommending construction methods and equipment, etc. as required).
- Initiate and maintain extra work estimating and issuance of change orders.
- Responsible for productivity of crafts, efficient use of material and equipment, and contractual performance of the project.
- Ensure company's safety initiatives are followed by all on-site employees.
- Investigate, report, and correct any safety-related incidents.
- Provide cost estimating, progress budgeting, change order pricing, and cost forecasting including monthly projections for low voltage projects.
- Travel, either local or overnight, may be required and this position is required to drive.
- Perform other tasks and special projects as assigned.
