Salary Range:$14.80-$23.32 per hour


ABOUT THE JOB

MU Health Care is seeking a dedicated individual to join our team as a Clinical Laboratory Assistant. In this entry-level position, you will play a vital role in ensuring the efficient operation of our laboratory processes by performing various preanalytical tasks. Your responsibilities will include ordering, collecting, processing, and distributing samples for analysis while adhering to laboratory policies and accrediting standards

Qualifications

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
High school diploma or an equivalent combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities can be acquired. Six (6) months of laboratory experience in one of the following areas: phlebotomy, processing specimens, laboratory aide, or completion of comparable medical training program; or sixty (60) hours of college coursework with twenty-four (24) hours of approved science courses.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Some college coursework in a science related field.

Chauffeur driver license; class E or higher for Missouri residents.

Additional license/certification requirements as determined by the hiring department.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
