Diagnostic Laboratory of Oklahoma- Enid, OK Monday-Wednesday 9am-5:30pm may rotate weekends
Main Duties: Must be able to work both independently and as a team member. Specimen collection will include all age groups and both Inpatients and Outpatients. Clerical tasks and computer data entry are a PSR responsibility. Must be customer service focused and professional. Ability to work independently with minimal on-site supervision. Excellent phlebotomy skills to include pediatric and geriatric patients. Flexible and available based on staffing needs, which includes weekends, holidays, on-call and overtime.
Required Knowledge: Knowledge of phlebotomy procedures, specimen requirements and basic computer use is helpful. Must comply with all DLO safety and compliance policies.
Required Experience: Current phlebotomy experience is preferred. Experience working / interacting with patients in a hospital setting is preferred.
Special Requirement: Must be able to communicate clearly and concisely both in person and on the telephone. Must have excellent dexterity. Will fill in for scheduled and unscheduled absences of phlebotomy staff. Must be neat and professional in appearance. Must maintain a courteous and professional demeanor during stressful situations.
