About The Opportunity
This position will be responsible for the movement of raw materials, product components, finished goods and other items as designated.Key Duties And Responsibilities
- Verify stock against original purchase order by checking stock specifications (type, quantity, weight, etc.)
- Receive raw material/cases and assign material number and location. Move material to assigned locations
- Receive outside service orders and miscellaneous items
- Load/unload trucks using Powered Industrial Trucks (PIT) equipment, Class 1, 3, & 4
- Maintain dock area to ensure that it is safe and clean at all times
- Participate in scheduled weekend overtime and be on call when scheduled
- Perform physical inventories and regular cycle counts and investigate any inventory inaccuracies
- Receive roll orders and raw material orders, organize information and give orders to shuttle drivers
- Schedule all inbound loads for both PPS York Main Plant and Packaging Plant and also provide schedule daily to Main Plant Receiving Material Handler
- Coordinate waste paper removal, working closely with Area Manager
