Job Description
Job Objective:

Schedule natural gas for Hilcorp San Juan and Hilcorp Energy Development in the West Region. Scheduling includes communicating natural gas movements effectively through all levels of the company, shippers, and third parties. Assist business development in making sure the core business needs are met and customer expectations are exceeded.

Essential Job Responsibilities:

  • Customer facing role with daily interactions with commercial shippers and pipelines.
  • Schedule Natural gas movements on various Midstream and Interstate Gas Pipelines.
  • Receive, analyze and determine acceptance of shipper nominations by working closely with the shippers, producers, and the Harvest and Enterprise commercial groups.
  • Verify daily activities for each customer from origin to destination.
  • Coordinate events in pipeline activity that affect the movement of gas with shippers, operations coordinators, pipeline controllers, engineers and field personnel.
  • Maintain tight tolerances on monthly imbalances on pipelines.
  • Provide analytical support when necessary to Business Development, and other departments on projects for continuous improvement and business growth.
  • Work with accounting personnel during the monthly invoicing process as well as periodically to clear up nomination and volume discrepancies.
  • Adheres to the company's values - integrity, ownership, urgency, alignment and innovation.

  • Adheres to established work schedule, attendance standards and is punctual to work and meetings.

Other Job Responsibilities:

  • Ability to be available 24 hours per day (on call for questions, emergencies, schedule changes, etc.).
  • Other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

  • Two (2) years minimum experience in the oil and gas business preferred.
  • Experience scheduling natural gas or crude oil pipelines preferred.
  • Operational experience on natural gas or crude oil pipelines preferred.

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in related field or experience in lieu of degree
