Job Summary
This position is a Maintenance Technician for our facility in Montrose, Colorado. Position is responsible for completing maintenance assignments to build, repair and/or maintain all equipment in good operating condition as quickly and accurately as possible; while keeping associated costs to a minimum and meet plant goals. The Maintenance Technician is expected to be multi-skilled and able to contribute to plant maintenance activities in a variety of craft disciplines.

Education and Experience
Associates Degree or equivalent experience
Technical School degree or experience equivalency
Five (5) or more years of experience in process improvement and problem solving techniques.
Five (5) or more years of experience in PLC troubleshooting and repair.
Five (5) or more years of experience in mechanical, electrical, and industrial operations.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Time management skills, quantitative and statistical skills
Knowledge of Microsoft Office products
Must be able to read/comprehend written and oral instructions in English; read and comprehend safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals and product recipes/material identifications.
Must have mathematical skill to add, subtract, multiply and divide and the ability to perform these operations using units of weight measurement, volume, and distance.
Must be able to effectively communicate one-on-one and in small group situations.
Must have manual dexterity sufficient to operate a wide variety of small hand tools, scales, hand trucks, fork lift, utility knife, and mixer/secondary machinery and computer equipment.
Demonstrate ability to rapidly learn the operation and set up of industrial machinery per operating procedures while following all training and plant procedures.
Salary $30.00 per hour
