Job Description

SUMMARY:

Responsible for providing high quality customer service and providing excellent internal and departmental service at all times. Primary tasks include loan maintenance, preparing and sending payoff letters and letters of guaranty. Processing the following: ACH forms, deferments, loan payments, loan and credit card closed accounts, and lien release forms. Preparing reconciliations, Quality Controls, maintaining loan reports, confirming with the municipalities non-escrowed taxes are paid, maintaining collateral insurance, distributing mail, preparing discharge of mortgages, ordering loan coupon books, maintaining loan filing/scanning system and other duties as assigned. Applicants must be willing to perform all necessary job functions and uphold all customer confidentiality.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Answer customer calls and provide an excellent customer experience for LN, ML and Credit card customers. Answer and resolve customer questions, concerns, and complaints. Prepare account verification requests.
Process loan payoffs and prepare payoff letters. Close Accounts and prepare the close out documentation (releasing collateral and letters to customer.). Prepare lien releases upon request. Prepare mortgage discharges. Request FNMA documentation from BNY Mellon.
Process payment deferments, payment reversals on loans, review change of address forms and process credit card change of address requests. Establish automatic loan transfers and process loan and credit card payments. Establish out of state check cashing privileges for commercial customers. Order coupon books.
Preparing reconciliations for the Credit Card, ML, and LN applications. Preparing reconciliations for GAP and VSI. Prepare Quality Controls for BELOCs, ODLs, Credit Cards, and ILs.
Sort and distribute incoming mail. Process return mail. Ensure Deposit Operations documentation is distributed and/or processed throughout the day. Distribute outgoing mail and proof work to correct areas and in a timely manner. Maintain document scanning and archiving paper files in a timely and accurate manner.
Confirm taxes are current with the Municipalities and Schools on non-escrowed loans collateralized with real estate. Prepare Real Estate Tax and Tax Foreclosure Reports. Terminate escrow accounts at the county level.
Maintain the Hazard, Auto, Specific Equipment, Content, and Life Insurance on core system and scanning to BestLending. Prepare vault check.
Receive and update core system with MV 901s and title information. Maintain and prepare the lien status report. Maintain Vehicle Total Loss Log and Prepare Letters of Guarantee. Submit claims to GAP and warranty cancellations.
Prepare packets and attend Loan Committee meetings. Update core system with FNMA trust pool data. Process Loan Operations VISA bill for Commercial and Installment loan UCCs and Mortgage Origination verifications.

*Other duties may be assigned.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

A high school diploma, with 2+ years banking experience is preferred.
Strong interpersonal relationship skills and the demonstration of effective listening and communication abilities are highly recommended.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

Must be able to hear well enough to communicate with customers, co-workers, and outside bank personnel.
Communicate Orally.
Normal daily physical activities to include: walking, standing, sitting, stooping, bending, pushing, and pulling.
Must be able to read reports and use computer.
Occasionally will lift 20-30 pounds (files, cash drawer, etc.)
