Route Planner and Analyst - Remote

As a Route Planner & Analyst, you will be responsible for developing efficient route plans for restaurant bulk oil deliveries utilizing sophisticated routing software. This position will identify and ensure the company's assets and drivers are utilized to maximize efficiency and provide on time delivery.

Location: This is a fully remote position and can be located anywhere in the continental US.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review previous day's routes and communicate any issues to local depot management.
  • Resolves incorrect customer data through analysis.
  • Set up and apply routing parameters for new customers.
  • Follows up on customer data issues to ensure they are being addressed.
  • Communicates effectively and partner with field management to ensure markets distribution needs are being met.
  • Utilize routing software to generate efficient route plans.
  • Research and analyzes maps, routes, route metrics and data in support of project initiatives, data-driven decision making, route efficiency.
  • Prepares, updates and maintains technical documentation, files and records; manages and maintains databases and related information and data tracking.
  • Analyze trends and past performance to improve process and gain efficiencies.

Requirements:

  • 2-5 years of data analysis and order processing experience preferred.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent; Technical or Bachelor's degree supply chain, business, logistics, or a related field preferred (ORTEC and ORACLE)
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products, specifically Word and Excel. Prior experience with routing programs is preferred.
  • Ability to navigate through ambiguity by demonstrating strong analytic, strategic and innovative thinking.
  • Experience in preparing and delivering presentations to small teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively to meet deadlines.

Schedule:

  • 4 shifts - 10 hours each, Start time is TBD - Will discuss with hiring manager during interview process
  • One weekend day shift required, may be able to work 2 weekend day shifts if desired. Weekends offer a $2/hr shift differential.
  • On call after hours 1-2 nights per week, little to no activity typical during on call shifts
