Key Responsibilities:

* Regularly interface with customers (civilian contractors, SSC (BZ, DC), USSF (SWAC, SPOC, SSDP, SF/T&E, other governmental agencies) at various customer sites to provide technical support, process development support and on orbit planning support.
* Support spans planning, integration execution and feedback phases of the life cycle of Experiments, Demonstrations & Prototypes.
* Generate and maintain technical documents including interface control documents (ICDs) verifications and validations, requirements verification matrices (RVM) plus On Orbit plans for multiple space vehicles and Payloads and Mission CONOPS.
* Directly support the Space Experiment Review Board (SERB) and directly support the Space Prototype Review Board (SPRB).
* Develop implementation plans to incorporate Prototype Evaluation Plans and On orbit plans to execute Mission Level Technical Baseline (MLTB) and evaluate a Prototype success in achieving capability goals and satisfying technical needs.
* Define and develop Prototype Roadmaps leading into Programs of Record (POR) via transition planning.

Required Skills and Experience:

* 20+ years directly applicable experience
* Masters Degree and Technical Bachelor's degree
* Experience with spacecraft payload systems, and Demonstration & Prototype payloads.
* Able to develop on orbit planning CONOPS to maximize the accomplishment of mission objectives for each payload on an assigned mission.
* Excellent communication skills, customer relationship and technical skills.
* Experienced with leading spacecraft development activities.
* Ability to develop solutions for complex technical issues with limited supervision.
* US Citizenship and a TS/SCI Security Clearance are required for the position
