Clariant is currently looking for a Maintenance Manager to support the Adsorbents and Additives business unit in Quincy, FL. The Maintenance Manager will lead and oversee all aspects of maintenance activities, including preventive maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting. You will provide indirect oversight to a team of skilled technicians, develop maintenance strategies, and implement best practices to minimize downtime and optimize productivity. Additionally, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with safety regulations and promoting a culture of safety within the maintenance department. You will also ensure that all equipment, machinery, and facilities are functioning efficiently and safely to support uninterrupted production and operations. Additionally, you will be tasked with implementing preventive maintenance programs, managing budgets, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations. This is a full time, onsite opportunity. Responsibilities

* Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and protocols, conducting regular safety inspections and implementing corrective actions as needed
* Work closely with Engineering Manager and Site Manager to manage site maintenance budget
* Provide direction to Maintenance Supervisor, Maintenance Planner, and two Electrical and Instrumentation Technicians
* Provide direction to the Industrial, Chemical, and Maintenance Technicians, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure optimal performance
* Optimize the use of maintenance labor and material costs
* Develop and implement maintenance schedules and plans to ensure the efficient operation of equipment and facilities
* Establish and maintain preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and prolong the lifespan of equipment and machinery
* Oversee troubleshooting efforts and coordinate repair activities to address equipment malfunctions promptly
* Maintain inventory levels for spare parts, tools, and equipment necessary for maintenance activities, ensuring availability when needed
* Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, equipment manuals, and inspection reports
* Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency gains within the maintenance department, implementing best practices and innovative solutions


Requirements

* Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent work experience
* Minimum 5 years of experience in Maintenance Management or a similar role, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting
* Strong leadership and team-building skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a diverse team
* Excellent problem-solving abilities and a hands-on approach to troubleshooting equipment issues
* Solid understanding of preventive maintenance strategies and techniques
* Proficiency in budget management and cost control principles
* Knowledge of relevant safety regulations and best practices in industrial safety
* Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders
* Proficiency with SAP other relevant software applications like Microsoft Office Suite
* Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
