Clearance Requirement: Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance

Travel Requirements: 25% (Installation; Testing/Analysis at various DoD sites)

Location: Norfolk, VA

SUMMARY: WR has an opportunity for a Radio Frequency (RF) Engineer to conduct, research, develop, design, and test RF payloads, electrical components, equipment, and systems.

Position responsibilities will include, but are not limited to the following:

* Conduct EMI/Radhaz surveys.

* Provide reports of findings using detailed analysis.

Candidates must possess the following knowledge, skills, and experience:

* Bachelor of Science degree in electrical/electronics engineering, electrical/electronics engineering technology, computer engineering, math, physics or related scientific discipline.

* Six (6) + years of professional engineering design experience in one of the following areas:

o Printed Circuit Board (PCB) Interface protocols (I/O)

o Digital design using state-of-the art microprocessors

o Analog, power and/or RF design

* Three (3) years of full-time professional experience in conducting radhaz surveys.

* Experience with the following:

o Briefing senior DoD personnel

o Writing Detailed EMI/Radhaz test plans

o Using test equipment to measure electric field strength & RF levels
