Objective of Role:
LaSalle Investment Management is seeking a Financial Analyst to join its LaSalle Value Partners US team to assist with asset and portfolio management. The LaSalle Value Partners US Series is LaSalle's flagship set of closed-end value add investment vehicles. The position will be located in the firm's downtown Chicago headquarters. The role will provide investment exposure to a variety of property sectors / US geographic regions and will be focused on core plus, value add and opportunistic deal profiles. The role will also provide exposure to fund/portfolio level considerations, interaction with fund limited partners, as well as to all aspects of property level execution throughout the asset hold period including financing, asset management, and disposition. The ideal candidate will bring a combination of strong academic record, relevant work experience and a passion for real estate investing. The position offers a candidate career growth opportunities and development in a team-focused environment and will directly report to Income & Growth's senior asset managers.

Accountabilities:
Conduct financial analyses including cash flow projections and Argus Enterprise valuation models

Evaluate property-level investment performance

Assist property managers in development of annual operating budgets and quarterly reforecasts

Gather and evaluate economic and market data

Assist with client reporting and presentation preparation

Analyze potential leases and capital spend programs and their financial impact on an investment

Evaluate lease language and understanding of impact to value of real estate

Coordinate property appraisals and internal valuations utilizing Argus valuation models

Provide analytical support to colleagues in the areas of fund operations and asset management

Assist asset managers in the disposition process

Perform detailed quarterly financial statement analysis, review of rent rolls, current and future cash flow and forecasting of both present value and cash flows through Argus

Oversee compliance of ground leases and mortgages

Review and/or Perform mortgage lender loan proceed draws

Travel to properties around the U.S. as requested by senior asset managers


Required Qualifications & Experience:
BA/BS degree in real estate, finance, accounting, or related field with strong record of academic achievement and analytical abilities

1- 2 years of relevant experience

Highly skilled in modeling investments in Excel; Argus Enterprise experience is preferred

Knowledge of DCF, NPV and cash flow models

Strong financial and analytical ability with solid organizational skills and ability to multi-task

Highly developed verbal and written communication skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Ability to work for multiple managers
