WHAT YOUR ROLE ENTAILS AND HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE:
The Finance Group supports the Hallmark Global Business in the areas of management reporting, financial analysis, decision support, planning and forecasting. The incumbent can expect to gain a broad range of experience and exposure in Supply Chain process and will actively influence decisions impacting Fixtures and the profitability of the Hallmark Global business.

The Financial Analyst - Fixtures provides high quality financial analysis and strategic support to the Fixtures teams. The analyst plays an influential role in helping Fixtures business partners understand the Fixtures scorecard and provide financial guidance in the operations of both Fixtures facilities. Key job responsibilities include managing month-end transactions & reporting, planning & forecasting fixtures spend, and understanding P&L cost drivers and cost assignment within the Fixtures entity. The incumbent will analyze and provide data for Fixtures and Supply Chain business partners, and engage in process improvement efforts. The incumbent will work closely with other individuals in Supply Chain Finance, the Fixtures Leadership Team, and other departments in Finance and Supply Chain. Supply Chain Finance offers opportunities to learn about supply chain operations, product costing, capital projects, order management processes, operational metrics, non-product budgets, and allocation processes.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting or Finance
  • At least 2 years' experience in a finance or accounting role

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 3-5 years in accounting or finance role
  • Knowledge of GAAP and its application with technical accounting research experience
  • Knowledge of and ability to navigate SAP and Hyperion Essbase Experience with account reconciliation software (Blackline preferred)
  • Great organizational skills and resourcefulness with the ability to identify and solve problems
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills

This is a progressive role and will be filled at the level based on the skills and experience of the selected candidate. This is a hybrid role with a mix of both on-site and work-from-home time. The role is based in Hallmark's headquarters in Kansas City, MO.
