The Department of Anthropology at the University of Missouri seeks a Visiting Assistant Professor in biological anthropology for the 2024-2025 academic year who will contribute to the department's focus on scientific approaches to studies of human biology, behavior, culture, and evolution. Responsibilities: The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching the four-field Introduction to Anthropology course and Introduction to Biological Anthropology with Lab. Additional courses will include both lower- and upper-level/grad courses and will draw on the candidate's area of expertise. The teaching load will be 3 courses each semester.

Appointment period: August 1, 2024 - May 31, 2025.

Minimum Qualifications: A PhD in Anthropology or a related field is required at the time employment begins.
