Position Description:
We are searching for a Financial Systems Analyst III. This position works with project and business leaders to identify analytical requirements, perform maintenance of data on system applications and reporting needs, ad-hoc and standardized reporting requirements. The Financial Systems Analyst performs financial data analysis and reporting utilizing a variety of "data mining" techniques and specialized software applications. Ability to recommend changes, explain complicated data structures, and interpret results. Assists with the implementation and maintenance of financial business solutions.

Day-to Day-Duties and Responsibilities:
Working in our hybrid work schedule you will:
- Compile and analyze all types of financial and accounting data in support of enterprise r eporting needs.
- Work closely with accounting department to communicate financial system requirements, discuss solutions and alternatives, and ensure requested enhancements can be achieved while adhering to documentation standards.
- Provide input for detailed functional and operational use cases, test plans, scenarios, and expected outcomes to validate the accuracy and performance of financial applications.
- Interpret results using simple data aggregation all the way up to complex, multi-variant statistical analyses. Translate data into useful information for the organization in support of business objectives.
- Assist with operational responsibilities on business applications as needed.
- Perform special projects as assigned.

It's an important role that covers many s kills. This position requires:
Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or equivalent and four (4) or more years of professional experience in accounting operations; experience with financial institutions a plus.
- Experience in financial analysis, financial business systems integration projects and financial reporting is also required.
- Must have skill in finance and accounting functional areas and have the ability to make decisions on how to set up financial data to meet the business needs of the entire department.
- Specialized knowledge of accounting/financial systems and accounting principles.
- Skill in oral and written communication.
- Intermediate to advanced skill level in Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to perform intermediate-level accounting/financial analyses under moderate supervision.
- Strong presentation skills and ability to convey interpretation of data compiled and managed.
- Must po ssess interpersonal relationship skills and excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Demonstrated problem solving and organizational skills are essential.
- Must be able to accomplish accurate, detailed tasks in short timeframes.
- Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
- A general degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
- Address special projects and assignments as requested.
- May be required to travel on an infrequent basis.
