The Loudoun County Department of Mental Health, Substance Abuse and Developmental Services is seeking a talented and motivated individual to serve as a Prevention Specialist in the Prevention & Intervention program. This position is a temporary summer position, anticipated to last 8-weeks from June 6 - August 9, 2024.
This temporary Prevention Specialist position provides services in our summer program for elementary (4th and 5th grade), middle school, and high school youth through the Prevention & Intervention Program.
In this position, you will:
Bachelor's degree in related field; one (1) year of professional work experience working with high- risk youth or a mental health and/or substance use disorder and/or prevention services; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
