Job Summary:
The Order Management Advanced Billing Specialist will manage the customer experience in Americas by handling and supporting all operational transactions for Industrial Technologies businesses. The role is critical in driving awareness and channel engagement within milestone billing as it relates to sales. The role will also help to drive our strategic initiatives through things such as pricing, customer satisfaction and service levels.

Responsibilities:

  • Strong experience in a customer facing role / previous exposure to the Service Industry preferred.
  • Self-motivated, assertive individual and teamwork oriented.
  • Understanding of operations and the supply demand flow is beneficial.
  • Problem solving : Demonstrates the ability to identify the most important elements that a problem and the ability to through a of to determine a logical solution. Uses rigorous logic and methods to solve difficult problems with effective solutions. Probes all fruitful sources for answers and doesn't stop at the first answers.
  • Change agent : Questions accepted practices, develops creative approaches, mitigates resistance to change and encourages others to do the same to promote progress through change. Previous experience conducting training is an advantage.
  • Customer Advocate : Cultivates strong, mutually beneficial customer relationships and works to earn the trust of the customer by ensuring that the company delivers value and acquires customer-driven insights to effectively address issues, needs and opportunities.
  • Collaboration : Demonstrated ability to build strategic relationships within various levels of customer's organization.
  • Communication : Understands and communicates technical information. Writes and speaks clearly and succinctly in a variety of communication settings and styles.

Basic Qualification:
  • Act as key liaison between territory Channel Partners for North America CTS and non-territory-based manufacturing to ensure timely delivery of goods for customers and channel partners.
  • Manage customer expectations by clearly communicating our commitments (i.e. delivery dates or problem resolution), and keeping channel partners informed of status of orders, issues, etc.
  • Coach Distributors and internal teams on advanced billing process and develop relationships with key accounts/distribution partners.
  • Manage Sales Order bookings / backlog in relation to dates / holds / quotes and P.O. errors as needed. Ensure that all requested support is provided to meet monthly revenue target, while driving order processing consistency within the channels.
  • Provide high quality service through efficient use of all Oracle/CRM functionalities related to order fulfillment and relative to customer activity, while coordinating cancellation requests with supplier/customer in order to avoid any discrepancy / excess in inventory.
  • Process all Progress/Advance (milestone) Billings Sales Orders for internal and external channel partners. Submit invoices to customer. Enter orders for key/strategic accounts. Manage orders dates. Manage invoice disputes. Support portal administration.
  • Manage customer orders from placement to invoicing through multiple channels, including phone, fax, EDI, E-Mail, and websites to ensure 100% customer satisfaction.
  • Support internal/external audits with record retention, monthly reconciliation reports, and manage change order requests to ensure accurate invoicing.
  • Improve First Pass Yield of order details by working with cross functional team to provide timely and accurate information.

Key Competencies:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Marketing or Supply Chain preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years higher education and /or 1-2+ year experience in customer facing role required.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications and experience with ERP.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional projects and people without direct authority. High attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Proficient in Excel
