ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for a passionate and motivated technical competitive intelligence professional experienced in technology solutions to join our Competitive Intelligence team. The ideal candidate has a proven track record for delivering strategic compelling insights with urgency and accuracy. This position requires a combination of strong technical skills, solution consulting sales experience, project/program management, and a deep understanding of Genesys' competitive landscape. The right candidate will be a proactive, self-driven and curious professional with a passion for delivering impactful presentations and product demonstrations.

In this role, you will draw on your extensive competitive knowledge, business acumen, resourcefulness, and technical expertise to arm Genesys with the necessary insights to outmaneuver our competition and win new market opportunities. Ultimately, your mission is this: help us win. You will assess and translate competitors' features, capabilities, and technologies into technical solution benefits to maximize our go-to-market and sales opportunities. Work within and across teams to gather, analyze and synthesize loads of competitive data into actionable insights through hands-on competitive assessments and deep dives that highlight our differentiated value proposition across marketing and sales tactics. You'll use all this intel to contribute to winning sales and marketing playbooks, product development planning, and company in-depth side by side comparisons.

We have a constant pulse on the market and our rivals. We are on a lookout for early warning signs, identifying risks and opportunities early enough to allow Genesys to adapt its strategy. We predict our rivals' next moves before they do. We constantly try out new things, learn from them, and iterate.

YOUR FUTURE DAY-TO-DAY RESPONSIBILITIES

* Deliver Technical Competitive Intelligence Excellence.

Monitor the competitive and market landscape

o Own the creation and delivery of hands-on product demonstrations, product comparisons and other technical competitive marketing assets to win against our rivals in the new Customer Experience as a Service Market- with agility, focus, integrity, and scale.

o Identify patterns and share insights so we can quickly make data-driven decisions.

o Proactively make actionable recommendations for product management, marketing, sales, and the executive team

o Support key corporate initiatives with market and competitive analyses

* Go-To-Market.

o Put your communication chops to work. Distill tons of info into clear, concise, and compelling intelligence with urgency and accuracy.

o Assist sales, marketing & product with actionable technical competitive intelligence, talking points, tactics, comparisons and differentiators to help win deals.

o Contribute to competitive enablement materials such as battlecards, playbooks, and market analyses.

* Collaborate across teams. Work with our partners in marketing, sales, product, business development, partners, industry analysts, consultants and more to understand our place in the market to communicate our competitive edge and help grow the company.

* Other responsibilities.

o Serve as a technical resource and evangelist for the overall marketing team.

o Help teams understand the impact of our intelligence.

o Deliver training sessions.

Requirements

* 8+ years of career relevant experience (market/competitive intelligence, technical sales, product management) preferably in a high-tech industry role

* Bachelor's degree - Business, technical discipline (Engineering or Science), or equivalent, History

* Experience in the contact center infrastructure market, the CRM market, the broader customer engagement/ CX market, other enterprise software/SaaS market and/or technology platforms preferred

* Knowledge and understanding of SaaS product led growth initiatives such as free trial to pay-as-you-go and/or freemium offers

* Experience in analyzing high tech products & services and communicating benefits

* Extremely strong critical thinking skills for framing, analyzing, and synthesizing complex problems (market and technology trends, architecture integration, business disruptions, etc.)

* Takes the ball and runs with it, working both independently and collaborating cross-functionally while managing expectations of internal customers and stakeholders

* Experience working with global teams on multiple project and programs

* Excellent written and verbal communications skills.

* Excellent in technology demonstration techniques (presentations, webinars, etc.)

* Eagerness to excel in a fun, ever-changing work environment

* Willing to travel up to 15%

Compensation:

This role has a market-competitive salary with an anticipated base compensation range listed below. Actual salaries will vary depending on a candidate's experience, qualifications, skills, and location. This role might also be eligible for a commission or performance-based bonus opportunities.

$95,500.00 - $187,400.00
