• Some of your duties will include:

  • Oversee revenue recognition processes in accordance with GAAP and company policies, and redraft company policies as necessary to ensure relevance to current procedures.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Finance, and Operations teams to ensure accurate recording and reporting of revenue.
  • Analyze contracts and agreements to determine appropriate revenue recognition treatment, and ensure sales contracts follow standardized Rinchem charges and services.
  • Prepare and review revenue-related journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reports.
  • Own month-end and year-end close processes related to revenue.
  • Stay updated on accounting standards and regulations related to revenue recognition.

You should have the following:

• Strong understanding of GAAP and revenue recognition principles (ASC 606).

Experience and Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred)
• 5+ years of experience in revenue accounting or related field.

Communication Skills:

• Ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts, both verbally and written.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
• The ability to convey complex information in a clear and concise manner to team members as well as individuals at all levels of Rinchem.

Computer Skills:

• Proficiency in accounting software (SAP, Netsuite) and Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
• Emphasis on advanced Excel skills and experience in data analysis and reporting
