The Massachusetts Gaming Commission (MGC) seeks to hire an Azure Administrator. Under the direction of the Information and Network Security Manager, the Azure Administrator is responsible for designing, deploying, and supporting cloud-based solutions that adhere to security best practices within the MGC Azure cloud environment. Support Linux and Windows server-based multi-tier applications with cloud-based and on-premises components. The incumbent must possess strong troubleshooting skills, be self-motivated, process-driven, highly customer-focused, and have a strong desire to improve personally and professionally.

The Massachusetts Gaming Commission is responsible for the implementation of the expanded gaming law (Chapter 194 of the Acts of 2011). Under the law, the Commission is tasked with establishing a regulatory framework for the solicitation, licensing, taxation, and oversight of a maximum of three casino licenses and one slots parlor license in Massachusetts.
