About the Role:

Alcoa is looking for a qualified Change and Configuration Management resource to support enterprise infrastructure operations.

This role administers the change process for all changes to enterprise infrastructure using the ServiceNow tool and ensures overall quality of the change management processes. This person will continually monitor, evaluate, and make recommendations for improvement to the change process by enabling automation and process improvements.

  • Maintain and implement additional improvement to the current change management process in alignment with organization goals.

  • Participate in the change management advisory committee to represent Enterprise Infrastructure team to adapt new changes to the process and tool in collaboration with other teams.

  • Facilitate and conduct daily, weekly change advisory board (CAB) meetings for infrastructure changes.

  • Utilize ServiceNow to automate and improve change management process, provide support to test the tool working with the platform team.

  • Improve existing processes to turnover or decommission IT infrastructure to be more self-service.

  • Perform impact analysis for the critical changes using CMDB data to reduce impact to the users due to changes.

  • Implement risk assessments to evaluate the impact that the change would have on all associated systems.

  • Conduct weekly change management meeting to review major changes and address any risk to avoid impact to production.

  • Ensure a change plan outlines the course that the change will take, the resources that are needed to complete the change, and best window of implementation.

  • Conduct weekly production turnover meetings between engineering and operation teams to review all the new environments going to production.

  • Oversee configuration management database to ensure quality of the CMDB, regular review & audit of the CMDB dashboard and address gaps.

  • Identify opportunity to improve the processes to maintain CMDB data, introduce automation to eliminate manual maintenance.

What you can bring to this role:

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical or business discipline such as Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Economics, Business Administration, etc.

  • 3 - 5 years of relevant work experience with change and configuration management for infrastructure or data center environments

  • Demonstrate a solid understanding of IT Change Management practices and processes.

  • Solid knowledge in IT Operation Management (ITOM) and IT Service Management (ITSM) are beneficial.

  • Experience with ServiceNow (optimally) or other IT Management toolset required.

  • Evaluate requests, schedules, and risk assessments to ensure adherence to the process and best practices.

  • Experience the end-to-end Infrastructure change management process.

  • Strong analytic skills to make judgement calls for submitted tickets, as well as configuration data within the CMDB.

  • Knowledge of project management, Dev Ops and Scrum methodologies.

  • Proven communication skills and ability to facilitate small meetings and lead discussions.

Alcoa est a la recherche d'une ressource qualifiee en gestion des changements et des configurations pour soutenir les operations de l'infrastructure de l'entreprise.

Ce role administre le processus de changement pour toutes les modifications apportees a l'infrastructure de l'entreprise a l'aide de l'outil ServiceNow et garantit la qualite globale des processus de gestion des changements. Cette personne surveillera, evaluera et formulera en permanence des recommandations pour ameliorer le processus de changement en permettant l'automatisation et l'amelioration des processus.

* Maintenir et mettre en uvre des ameliorations supplementaires au processus actuel de gestion du changement conformement aux objectifs de l'organisation.

* Participer au comite consultatif sur la gestion du changement pour representer l'equipe d'infrastructure d'entreprise afin d'adapter les nouveaux changements au processus et a l'outil en collaboration avec d'autres equipes.

* Faciliter et diriger des reunions quotidiennes et hebdomadaires du comite consultatif sur les changements (CAB) pour les changements d'infrastructure.

* Utiliser ServiceNow pour automatiser et ameliorer le processus de gestion des changements, fournir une assistance pour tester l'outil en collaboration avec l'equipe de la plateforme.

* Ameliorer les processus existants pour renouveler ou mettre hors service l'infrastructure informatique afin d'offrir davantage de libre-service.

* Effectuer une analyse d'impact pour les changements critiques a l'aide des donnees CMDB afin de reduire l'impact sur les utilisateurs en raison des changements.

* Mettre en uvre des evaluations des risques pour evaluer l'impact que le changement aurait sur tous les systemes associes.

* Organiser une reunion hebdomadaire de gestion du changement pour examiner les changements majeurs et traiter tout risque afin d'eviter tout impact sur la production.

* Assurez-vous qu'un plan de changement decrit le cours que prendra le changement, les ressources necessaires pour achever le changement et la meilleure fenetre de mise en uvre.

* Organiser des reunions hebdomadaires de rotation de production entre les equipes d'ingenierie et d'exploitation pour examiner tous les nouveaux environnements mis en production.

* Superviser la base de donnees de gestion de la configuration pour garantir la qualite de la CMDB, examiner et auditer regulierement le tableau de bord de la CMDB et combler les lacunes.

* Identifier les opportunites d'ameliorer les processus de maintenance des donnees CMDB, introduire l'automatisation pour eliminer la maintenance manuelle.

Ce que vous apportez au role:

* Baccalaureat dans une discipline technique ou commerciale telle que l'ingenierie, l'informatique, les mathematiques, l'economie, l'administration des affaires, etc.

*3 a 5ans d'experience professionnelle pertinente dans la gestion des changements et des configurations pour les environnements d'infrastructure ou de centre de donnees.

* Demontrer une solide comprehension des pratiques et des processus de gestion des changements informatiques.

* De solides connaissances en gestion des operations informatiques (ITOM) et en gestion des services informatiques (ITSM) sont benefiques.

* Experience avec ServiceNow (de maniere optimale) ou un autre ensemble d'outils de gestion informatique requise.

* Evaluer les demandes, les calendriers et les evaluations des risques pour garantir le respect du processus et des meilleures pratiques.

* Decouvrez le processus de gestion des changements d'infrastructure du debut a la fin.

* Solides competences analytiques pour faire des jugements sur les tickets soumis, ainsi que sur les donnees de configuration au sein de la CMDB.

* Connaissance des methodologies de gestion de projet, Dev Ops et Scrum.

* Competences averees en communication et capacite a animer de petites reunions et a diriger des discussions.

Base salary: $91,500 - $126,000 USD annually

Total rewards packages listed, including base salary and bonus eligibility, applies to US based applicants only. Actual salaries will vary and will be based on a range of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, and competencies in conjunction with multiple components of the Employee Total Rewards Package. Alcoa reserves the right to change plans at its discretion.
