As an integral part of the Regional Operational Excellence Group at Fugro, the Americas Project Management Office (PMO) was established to provide wide-ranging support to all of the Business and Service Lines across the region. This includes providing best practices and training as well as coordinating project management support roles on selected projects. Come join our growing team of project management professionals!

As part of the Project Management support pool, the position is required to provide appropriate levels of proactive QA and QC support to Project activities such as project planning, procurement, equipment preparation, mobilization, and service delivery operations

Job Responsibilities:

  • Lead by example and place Quality, Health & Safety, Security, and the protection of the Environment as core values while never intentionally placing employees, our processes, customers, or the communities in which we live and work at risk.

  • Provides appropriate levels of proactive QA and QC support to Project activities such as project planning, procurement, equipment preparation, mobilization, and service delivery operations.

  • Helps identify and deliver improvement initiatives to drive predictable performance.

  • Schedules and conducts internal and external audits / verifications in compliance with the Company and Contractual requirements.

  • Creates, maintains, and updates Quality inspection budgets.

  • Collaborates with the Project Manager and agrees the appropriate required level of inspections and Surveillance for all supplier and subcontractor activities. Ensures that third party inspectors are utilized and managed in accordance with supply chain and approval processes to ensure adequate levels of surveillance resources are identified for current and future work scopes.

  • Actively supports failure in quality investigations and case management as per global requirements and recognized best practices.

  • Works with suppliers and project team, sets external and internal controls of work requirements for Client review and implement agreed inspection and test plans for project specific products and services as needed.

  • Supports regional HSE function to ensure compliance with Company's Business Management Procedures.

Job Requirements:

  • Legally authorized to work in the United States, without restrictions

  • University Degree in Business or Technical Field

  • Over 3 years of experience in a Project QA/QC role

  • Industry approved lead auditor training with relevant experience of auditing, reporting and effective follow-up.

  • A broad depth of Quality Management System knowledge and experience

  • Minimum 3 years experience in the Energy Sector
