Position Title: Loan Operations Coordinator
Business Unit: Operations
Reports To: Supervisor of Loan Operations

Position Overview:
This position is primarily responsible for assisting the branches by analyzing, evaluating, documenting and closing loan requests generated through the branches. The incumbent performs various duties to meet the needs of customers and achieve customer service goals as established in the loan operations annual operating plan. The incumbent complies with established operating policies and procedures, communicates with appropriate personnel, responds to inquiries or requests for information, maintains appropriate records and provides assigned reports. The incumbent is the subject matter expert.

Primary Responsibilities:
Serves as the subject matter expert for the assigned team. Responsible for assigning daily functions of Loan Representatives and facilitating daily work flow to ensure deadlines are met. Provides support to co-workers in all areas relating to questions and processing issues. Provides support to management.
Supports branch managers and commercial lending teams by assisting them to analyze, evaluate, document and close their loan requests. Discusses loan inquiries, loan documentation and processing issues providing direction and solutions to issues.
Provides service to customers of the bank with respect to loan products and services. Provides help to customers with specific inquiries or service problems.
Prepares and maintains accurate records of production volumes. Provides reports to management monthly or as requested.
Performs other related duties and projects as assigned.

Minimum Education:
High School or GED

Minimum Years Experience:
7

Special Skills:
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Ability to work and multi-task in a fast paced environment
Detail-oriented
Ability to use general office equipment
Ability to use a personal computer and job-related software
MS Word - Intermediate Level
MS Excel - Intermediate Level
Working knowledge of banking operating policies and procedures which impact banking services.
