Overview

FamiliesFirst Network of Lakeview (FFN) provides foster care, adoption and child welfare services in Escambia, Santa Rosa, Okaloosa and Walton counties. Position Summary

This position is responsible for managing the day-to-day handling of scanning and validating case/provider file documentation in the electronic record system, maintaining compliance of accurate documentation, management and organization of original vital records, and administrative customer support for the respective site. Assignments/tasks are expected to be executed with considerable independence while maintaining confidentiality with established facility policies and procedures.

Qualifications

* Associate's degree in related field and two (2) years of experience in any of the following areas: Data Entry Operation, Records, Business Administration, Contracts, Compliance, or Paralegal Studies. May substitute equivalent combination of education and experience.
* Must have proficient computer skills with an ability to use Microsoft Office to complete tasks, conduct research, document maintenance and preparation.
* Must have a friendly, confident, and knowledgeable phone presence.
* Must be able to maintain effective working relationships with internal and external customers.
* Must be extremely detail oriented with a high level of accuracy while demonstrating the ability to resist distractions.
* Ability to understand and present information to customers.
* Ability to research a variety of sources and cases, gather information, and inspect large volumes of paperwork.
* Must have strong organizational skills, ability to prioritize responsibilities, and work on more than one case at a time.
* Must have significant discretion in processing and control of highly sensitive material.
* Must have the ability to work independently with good decision-making skills.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills including letters, memos and emails.
* Must be able to pass organization screening requirements, including state or federal background screenings as appropriate.
