Job Description

As a Marketing and Communications Intern at Fugro, you'll play a pivotal role in enhancing our brand presence and engaging with our internal and external audience. You'll collaborate closely with the marketing team to create compelling content, manage social media channels, and support various communication initiatives. Your work will directly impact our regional marketing efforts.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Lead by example and place Quality, Health & Safety, Security, and the protection of the Environment as core values while never intentionally placing employees, our processes, customers, or the communities in which we live and work at risk.

Social Media:

  • Craft engaging and concise social media posts related to Fugro's events, conferences, and webinars.

  • Optimize content and employ best practices across all social media platforms and help track their performance using analytics tools.

Content Development:

  • Collaborate with the marketing team to create engaging, persuasive, and relevant content for website, promotional campaigns, case studies, and internal newsletter.

  • Work closely with subject matter experts to ensure alignment and accuracy of content.

  • Assist in editing and proofing content to ensure voice, grammar, and style are on point.

  • Help optimize content into appealing presentation and sales materials, including PowerPoint.

Project Management:

  • Upload and maintain marketing projects in project tracking tools.

  • Assist in updating project status, milestones, and deadlines.

  • Ensure accurate documentation of project progress.

Job Requirements:

  • Legally authorized to work in the United States, without restrictions

  • Pursuing a Bachelors' or Masters' degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to convey technical concepts in an understandable manner.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially PowerPoint).

  • Creative thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Enthusiastic, detail-oriented, and eager to learn.
