As the Director of Trench Solutions, you will play a pivotal role in our company's success by overseeing the strategic planning, execution, and growth of our trench solutions business. You'll lead a team of professionals, manage operations, and drive revenue while ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction in North America.
1. Strategic Leadership:
Develop and execute a comprehensive business strategy for the trench solutions business, setting goals, and executing on annual performance.
Identify market trends, customer needs, and growth opportunities.
Collaborate with senior management to align rental services with overall company goals.
2. Team Management:
Lead and inspire a team of rental coordinators, technicians, and sales representatives.
Foster a positive work environment, encourage professional development, and ensure team cohesion.
Set performance goals, track metrics, and provide regular feedback.
3. Operations and Logistics:
Oversee equipment inventory, maintenance, and logistics.
Ensure timely delivery and pickup of rental equipment.
Optimize fleet utilization and minimize downtime.
4. Customer Relations:
Build strong relationships with clients, contractors, and industry partners.
Address customer inquiries, resolve issues, and maintain high customer satisfaction.
Collaborate with the sales team to identify upselling opportunities.
5. Financial Management:
Develop and manage the business budget, pricing strategies, and revenue targets.
Monitor financial performance, analyze profitability, and implement cost-saving measures.
Prepare regular reports for senior management.
6. Safety and Compliance:
Uphold safety standards and compliance with regulations.
Ensure proper training for equipment operators.
Maintain accurate records related to safety inspections and certifications.
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or related field (Master's preferred).
Minimum of 10 years of experience in equipment rental, construction, or related industry.
Experience with trench industry products is a plus.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities.
Familiarity with trenching equipment, safety protocols, and industry best practices.
