Position Objective:
Coordinates patient throughput within the organization during all hours and works closely with the Nursing Logistics Coordinator when present. Relay barriers to patient throughput to assure maximum efficiency. The job duties affect direct patient care by completing tasks, which allow others to provide direct patient care. Collaborates with community partners to receive patients that will be direct admissions to the organization. Observes, monitors, and controls admission/patient flow from the ED, PACU, and outside facilities/offices. This individual may have to rotate various shifts within 24 hours, the likelihood being that shifts will be from 7a-7p or 7p-7a. Weekend rotations and holiday coverage are required to ensure the departmental needs are met to have coverage seven days a week.

Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel.
Strong interpersonal skills required to communicate with various departments and staff members.
Working Conditions, Equipment, Physical Demands:
Medium work. Exerting up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 30 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move an object.
