Operations Analyst III
Contingent upon Contract Award
Purpose:
  • Valkyrie Enterprises has need for a Operations Analyst III who will be key in providing technical support to NAVWAR.
  • Located in San Diego, CA
Job Description:
  • Responsible for development, review and publishing of architectures, standards, competency development models, training program documentation, manpower analysis (analysis, metrics and projections) policy and processes to ensure consistency among tightly coupled work products.
  • Development engineering processes for the enterprise and link them to the system specific system engineering processes
  • Provide recommendation in applying innovative ways to achieve better value procurement to support project missions.
  • Assess program management activities managing cost, schedule and performance, and identifying and mitigating risks.
Qualifications:
  • Must have Master of Science from an accredited college or university in applied science, computing, engineering, mathematics, physics, management information systems, or other related engineering or computer science discipline, business, political science, or contracts and at least 8 years of experience. In Lieu of Masters degree, a Bachelor of Arts degree with additional years of experience will suffice.
  • Must have at least 8 years of experience with the design, development and execution of strategic plans, communication plans, and management for defense acquisition programs
  • Must have at least 8 years years of experience with the development, review and publishing of architectures, standards, competency development models, training program documentation, manpower analysis (analysis, metrics and projections) policy and processes to ensure consistency among tightly coupled work products.
  • Must have at least 6 years of experience with the development of reports, plans, summaries and/or briefings for defense acquisition programs
  • Must have at least 6years of experience with development engineering processes for the enterprise and link them to the system specific system engineering processes.
  • Must have at least 8 years years of experience with program management activities managing cost, schedule and performance, and identifying and mitigating risks.
  • Must have at least 6 years years of experience with a wide range of contract types, methods, and techniques, and ability to provide recommendation in applying innovative ways to achieve better value procurement to support project missions
Security Requirements:
  • Must have a Secret level security clearance with ability to obtain Top Secret level security clearance with access to SCI if needed.
Travel Requirements:
  • Occasional travel- less than 10%
  • If position requires travel by domestic flight or access to secure federal facilities/military bases, candidate must be able to obtain (by start of position) and maintain appropriate identification credentials, such as REAL ID. Pay Range: $85,000 - $99,554 per year
