Position Purpose- The Certified Instrument/Sterile Processing Technician is a certified clinician who provides an essential role in patient safety and infection control by ensuring surgical instruments, endoscopes and patient care equipment is decontaminated, reprocessed and maintained. The Certified Technician operates several types of surgical instrument sterilizers and decontamination equipment.
Current Pay Range:
Non-Certified- $18.00-$23.42 (Based on 40 hours worked per week) / Hourly Salary
Certified- $19.00-$25.83 (Based on 40 hours worked per week) / Hourly Salary
Shift: There are a variety of shifts available for this role- full time and part time. Please identify your preferences in the questions within the application.

Qualifications:
Non Certified-
High School Diploma
Certified:
Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
Experience: One-year Sterile Processing Technician experience or
Equivalency: Completion of a Sterile Processing Technician or Surgical Technologist program
Certification(s): CBSPD Certified Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician (CSPDT) or Sterile Processing Technician (SPT) or IAHCSMM Certified Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST)
