Description

The Sr Marketing Manager, Microbiology is a downstream marketing role in the NA region that drives the creation and launch of molecular productsacross all relevant segments. The Marketing Manager will ensure competitive differentiation bydemonstratingthe value of molecularsolutions to all customer key stakeholders and decision makers.
This Sr Marketing Manager will partner with Global and NA Marketing, Sales, Scientific & Clinicalaffairsand other cross-functional leads to ensure our molecularsolutionsdemonstrateimpact across the clinical,operationaland economic needs of each target audience. This role requires deepexpertisein market and customer segmentation, value-based solutionscreationand commercial executionexpertisein the molecular market.
Primary Duties
  • Create solution value offers that link to customer organizationalobjectivesand market needs and ensure sustainable YoYrevenuegrowth for the molecularportfolio.
  • Through collaboration with Global and NA Teams continuouslymonitorand translate the NA market emerging trends into solutions development activities to deliver more relevant value propositions to molecularaudience and decision makers.
  • In partnership with Global and NA Product Teams, Sales,MedicalAffairsand Market Accesstocreate relevant customer engagement tools that drive access to senior decision makers across key Strategic Customers andcreate stronger partnerships and demand across the molecularlines.
  • In collaboration with Marketing communication teams create innovative digital solutions to support the molecular productvalue offers and drive the desired target audience buying behaviors.
  • Develop and implement goals,metricsand models to measure impact of specific marketing campaigns across all segments.
  • Collaborate closely with the Strategic Integrated Campaign Leads to develop product and portfolio campaigns focused on molecularsegments.
  • Developstrategic yearlyplansandbudgets.
  • Develops relationships with Key Opinion leaders.
  • Understand Regulatory and legal aspects of productpromotion.
  • Assistin the RFPprocess.
  • Launch newproducts.
Training and Education
BA/BS degree in marketing or a business related field is required.
Experience
7+ years of relevant experience in multifunctional commercial product management, marketing or sales experience. Experience in the IVD industry is preferred.

  • Results oriented; ability to design scalable solutions to address business questions and/or challenges; self-motivated and organized to successfully complete high-quality work projects on time; attentive todetail.
  • Ability to work across business lines and partner with various stakeholders to build consensus and achieve businessresults.
  • Strong customer-facing skills from needs identification to delivering executive business case presentation.
  • Ability to lead and effectively collaborate across multiple marketing and salesorganizations.
  • Strong analytical skills, with proventrack recordof creativity in problem solving and customer needsresolution.
  • Proficient customer facing skills at a senior management level and the ability to deliver impactful executive presentations.
  • Process oriented to seek details and data to quantify impact of continuous improvement for customer operationalperformance.
  • Expert knowledge of the Immunoassaysegment, its challenges & solutions
  • Experience in a matrix organization and the ability to influence beyond lines of directcontrol.
  • Experience in partnering with multi-cultural teams and building relationships.
