Whether you're into our values, our brand, or our egg-cellent puns, we hope you'll join our Crew and help us change the world 108 square feet at a time!

Your Role:

Reporting to the Director of Farm Growth, Planning and Business Development, the Lead Generation Specialist will be responsible for recording and analyzing data throughout the recruitment process. If you are extremely organized, a team player, an Excel wiz, able to wear many hats, and a quick learner, we highly encourage you to apply!

What You'll Do:

  • Work closely with the potential farmer from initial introduction to their first in-person touchpoint
  • Maintain all systems and spreadsheets pertaining to lead generation and pipeline management. Continuously seek to improve and streamline the end-to-end process.

  • Work closely with interested potential farmers to conduct a thorough assessment of property and ability to meet requirements and secure financing

What You Bring to the Table:

  • Proficient in Microsoft applications (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook), with advanced Excel experience
  • Desired proficiency in Greenhouse
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to explain contract terms as well as company programs in a clear, concise manner - breaking complex items into digestible components for all stakeholders
  • You're proactive and solutions-focused; you don't wait to be asked to solve a problem.
  • You are focused on customer service and provide a top-notch experience to potential growers and internal stakeholders
  • You can work comfortably under minimal direct supervision; note that your manager will be based remotely.
  • You are flexible, and adaptable, and bring an appropriate sense of urgency to your work.
  • You have strong networking abilities and can establish and build strong community ties.
  • You're no hero - You know the power of teamwork and celebrate the work of others before your own.
  • You give a sh*t - You believe in acting like an owner and making Vital Farms a place to be proud of.
  • You raise the standards - You know growth can be hard, but you strive to improve yourself and others each day.
  • You can walk in someone else's boots - You seek to understand other's viewpoints and think that you get to better answers by sitting on the same side of the table.
