Overview

The Behavioral Health Community Based Therapist I will be trained in the Integrative Family and Systems Treatment (I-FAST) model of therapy to apply with children and families. Clinicians will receive individual supervision, group consultation and the ability to participate in "live" supervision sessions with the treatment team. As a strength-based model, clinicians will learn to utilize individual and family strengths to support systemic health. Additionally, the clinician will be trained in other evidence-based practices, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Motivational Interviewing.

Responsibilities

* Provides high quality evidence-based practices.

* Provides intensive family therapy in the community to children and families.

* Collaborates with family to identify goals and objectives for treatment plan.

* Works with the Clinical Coordinator, supervisor, and team to develop strategies for implementing interventions.

* Uses creative intervention strategies for fostering change in families, specifically their patterns of interaction.

* Collaborates with psychiatry, care coordinators, school staff, and other community agencies.

Qualifications

Education: Master's or doctoral degree and appropriate Ohio licensure. Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Experience: Experience in family therapy, OR a willingness to learn family therapy techniques.
