Mgr Patient Care Services ARRMC (Emergency Room)

Additional Position Details: FTE: 1.000000 | Full Time | Primarily Mon - Fri / 8AM - 5PM

Position Summary

The Manager of Patient Care Services ARRMC Emergency Room provides a vital service to the community it serves. The Manager of the Emergency Department is critical to the effective provision and management of these services. Functions include; budgetary responsibility, workforce management, operational efficiency, development/maintenance of key stakeholder relationships; both within and outside of Asante, identification/implementation of quality of care improvement opportunities, including key performance indicators.


Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN), or Bachelors in related field completed within 6 months of hire, is required.
  • Master's Degree in Nursing (MSN),preferred.

Experience

  • 3 years progressive leadership experience; required
  • 2 years clinical experience; required
  • Clinical leadership experience; highly desired

Licensure/Certifications

  • RN: Registered Nurse by the Oregon State Board of Nursing (OSBN) required upon start
  • BLS: Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider certified by the American Heart Association (AHA) required upon start.
  • CNML: Certified Nurse Manager Leader by the American Organization of Nurse Leaders (AONL),preferred.
