• Climbing Tower Attendant

Lifeguard

• Hiring Range: $18.50-$25 - Offer dependent on experience
• This is a lifeguard position. Aquatics Attendants are responsible for ensuring the safety of facility patrons by preventing and responding to emergencies in and around the pool areas and the proper operation of pool equipment.
• No experience necessary, relevant experience in Aquatics environment preferred. Paid training for American Red Cross Lifeguard certification will be provided at no cost.

Swim Instructor

• Hiring Range: $18.50-$25 - Offer dependent on experience
• Teaching swimming techniques, strokes, and water safety to students of varying abilities and ages in both group and private lesson environments.
• No experience necessary, relevant experience in Aquatics environment preferred. American Red Cross Water Safety Instructor Certification can be provided at no cost.

Climbing Tower Attendant

• Hiring Range: $18 - $20 - Offer dependent on experience
• Responsible for overall safety of patrons participating in leisure rock climbing. Perform instruction in safe and proper climbing wall use and assist patrons as needed with harnesses and belaying.
• No experience necessary, relevant experience in climbing preferred.

Fitness Instructor

• Hiring Range: $27.82 - $44.44 - Offer dependent on experience
• Fitness Instructors lead groups or individuals in exercise activities within a class setting, demonstrating proper techniques of each exercise. They manage classes of various sizes and people of various ages.
• One-year of experience in teaching fitness classes required, must hold or be working towards fitness certifications.

Rink Operator

• Hiring Range: $18.61 - $21.41 - Offer dependent on experience
• Rink Operators perform ice maintenance by assisting with painting of ice, installation of ice, and tear-out of ice as needed. Has basic knowledge of ice resurface techniques, can recognize ice conditions, and understands basic sharpening.
• No experience necessary, relevant experience in Ice Maintenance preferred.

Recreation Attendant - Guest Services

• Hiring Range: $18.00 - $22.80 - Offer dependent on experience
• Guest Services Attendants perform a variety of administrative and customer service duties, such as greeting and assisting visitators, providing information to patrons, and assisting with general operations in the Aspen Recreation Center.
• Minimum of 6 months experience in guest service or customer service.

Sports Official

• Hiring Range: $20.00 - $45.00 - Offer dependent on experience
• Sports officials are responsible for ensuring the safety of participants by calling penalties and violations in accordance with imposed Rules & By-Laws within the Aspen Recreation youth and adult sports programming.
• Responsible for monitoring behavior, play and actions of participants while on-site and within the confinements of the programmed event.
• Entry Level Applicants with less than 2 years of relevant professional experience in officiating for youth or adult sports.
