STV currently has an opening in our Orlando, FL office for a Roadway/Civil Engineer in our Transportation division.This person will primarily perform production of construction documents, plans, specifications, estimates and various studies and reports for road/highway projects including but not limited to design projects for public agencies.

The candidate will be responsible for:

  • Supporting interdisciplinary projects, document preparation and production, assisting sub-consultants, monitoring budgets, schedules, and quality
  • Assisting with the design of roadway alignments and details, grading, drainage, traffic and other highway infrastructure and site work
  • Interacting with client management teams, engineers, and marketing teams
  • Design using MicroStation

Required Skills & Required Experience:

  • BS/MS degree in Civil Engineering / PE License is required
  • 8 or more yearsof experience in transportation, highway and roadway design, or closely related engineering field.
  • Proficient in Bentley MicroStation & Bentley Open Roads Designer
  • Familiarity with FDOT Roadway Standards, Criteria, and Specifications
  • Ability to support management and provide technical expertise in the following areas:
  • Roadway/highway design
  • Vertical and horizontal alignments
  • Pavement section design
  • Drainage system design
  • Excellent interpersonal skills

Compensation Range:

$99,966.00 - $133,287.00
