We are looking for Full Stack Developers to support the re-architecture, modernization, and addition of new geo-referenced data sources to an operational enterprise system providing data ingest, archive, retrieval, display, and dissemination to over 2000 users.

Project: This effort is re-architecting and modernizing the customer's mission-focused operational system. This will include their web application, backend database and ingest capability for existing and new data providers. The majority of the legacy code is written in Java and will need to be updated, improved or rewritten in Python as we modernize and migrate to the cloud.

The Full Stack Developer will be required to modify java-based applications and scripts to support new requirements. Evaluate and migrate legacy Java code to Python for backend processes. The selected candidate will be required to develop and integrate new capabilities in a Java-based web application, as well as develop a custom interface to compile and display metrics for the system and its users. The developer will also need to collaborate with system stakeholders to identify new capabilities and development timeline for implementation, triage issues and quickly develop system patches to minimize impact to customer workflows. Additionally, the Full Stack Developers will be required to submit monthly written summary reports of accomplishments.

Our salary ranges are market-driven and set to allow for flexibility. Individual pay will be competitive based on a candidate's unique set of knowledge, skills, and geographic diversity, with earnings potential commensurate with experience. The range for this position is:
$127,000.00 - $213,000.00 annually.Maxar employees must follow all applicable Maxar policies and COVID-19 requirements as well as those of Maxar customers and third parties.
