What does a great Senior Big Data Engineer I do?
Travelport's Data Engineers are tasked with developing infrastructure and systems that realize the business value of the Data Science AI/ML models. Travelport has sophisticated Data Platforms in the cloud and on premise. We have Big Data, processing Terabytes of data, processing billions of transactions per day, and applications which process 100k+ transactions per second on average. As a Senior Data Engineer, you will create and lead the creation of frameworks and architectures for system integration, data pipelines, model generation pipelines, and more. You will also develop streaming and batch data products. Salary Target/Range: $135,000 - $145,000
The salary of the finalist(s) selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, internal equity, experience, education, specialty and training.
