Job Summary

The Department of Information Systems and Business Analytics in the College of Business is searching for a Temporary ATOM Program Coordinator to provide operational, administrative, and academic support for the ATOM Think Tank (ATOM). This temporary one year position will ensures high quality in the delivery of programs, and project activities, and cultivates strong industry connections and partnerships, that create diverse opportunities to assist in furthering the academic and professional development of the undergraduate and graduate students in the College of Business.

Duties include:

  • Guides the planning, flow, and execution of ATOM's mix of programs/activities to ensure programs are on target with timelines, deliverables, and objectives.
  • Coordinates program logistics, to include reservations, agendas, catering, marketing, etc.
  • Performs high-level administrative tasks for internal and external meetings.
  • Builds and strengthens connections with ATOM's external industry partners.
  • Leads student engagement by coordinating student support services and academic development activities.

Desired Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in business or appropriate area and three years of experience working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Requires multi-tasking, critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision in a highly interactive team environment.
  • Project management skills.
  • Strong writing and editing skills.
  • Knowledge of advanced features in Microsoft Office Suite.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree; OR four (4) years of office or related experience; OR an equivalent combination of relevant education and/or experience.

Positions under National Forensic Science Technology Center will require Bachelor's degree in an appropriate area of specialization in related field; OR an equivalent combination of relevant training and/or military experience.

Work Schedule
  • 40 hour per week.
  • Monday to Friday
  • From 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
  • Occasionally nights and weekends.
  • This is one year assignment.

Advertised Salary

$19.23 per hour.
