LinQuest is seeking a SkillBridge Administrative Associate Internship - remote

The SkillBridge internships are for active duty military during the last 180 days of military service.

This is an unpaid internship as the active military member will continue to be paid by the military during their internship

You will be joining a team of professionals and providing your unique viewpoints and skills, with opportunities to gain valuable experience and exposure to government Subcontracting

SkillBridge Internship Program Qualifications:

  • Has served at least 180 days on active duty
  • Is within 12 months of separation or retirement
  • Will receive an honorable discharge
  • Have taken any service TAPS/TGPS
  • Has attended or participated in an ethics brief within the last 12 months
  • Received Unit Commander written authorization and approval to participate in the DoD SkillBride program prior to the start of internship

Responsibilities:

  • Create documents with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) including formatting, finding, or creating graphics, pivot tables, editing, proof reading and distribution
  • Data entry and data management
  • Organize procurement files on the shared drive
  • Organizing subcontracts and procurement inboxes
  • Track Certificates of Insurance, training, and CPE
  • Maintain department document configuration on LinQshare.
  • Professionally interact with the upper leadership team, vendors, and personnel
  • Manage the relationships with our corporate services vendors by ensuring the vendors deliver agreed to services by measuring performance, identifying opportunities for improvements, and addressing shortfalls

Required Skills:

  • High school diploma, college graduate or equivalent 0-3yrs experience
  • US Citizenship
  • Ability to accept direct supervision.
  • Advanced MS Office and Adobe Program Skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Mail Merge, SharePoint)
  • Strong problem-solving ability and the ability to work independently.
  • Highly motivated and willing to learn
  • Excellent writing, communication, and organizational skills
  • A team player is a must
  • Ability to handle multiple projects, works well with tight deadlines and be willing to do what it takes to get the job done

Preferred Skills:

  • Familiarity with Deltek CostPoint or another ERP/MRP system
  • Vendor relationship management
  • Procurement experience is a huge plus.
