Provide leadership and direction for UCLA Health's family medicine ambulatory and community practices, reporting to the Chief of Operations for Ambulatory and Community Practices for ambulatory and community practices, and where applicable to the Chief Operating Officer (COO) for the Hospital System for inpatient related activities in UCLA owned facilities. The Clinical Director will also report to the Executive Medical Director of the clinical ambulatory and community practice. You will: * Oversee clinical operations * Ensure compliance, patient satisfaction, patient safety and quality * Monitor clinic productivity, billing practices, audit requirements, equipment maintenance, and IT services * Oversee financial performance of the ambulatory and community practice * Develop, execute and implement strategic plans for expansion Salary range: 95,900.00-222,100.00 annual
Qualifications

Required: * Master's degree (Business Administration, Health Care Administration, Public health or related field) or combination of education and relevant experience. * Five to seven years of healthcare managerial experience required * Clinical leadership, planning and change management skills * Ability to demonstrate a high level of diplomacy in persuading and influencing a wide variety of people at various levels to achieve results * Previous demonstrated expertise in managing patient services and nursing staffing in environment with a high volume of patient visits * Strong knowledge of industry standards and/or regulatory requirements * Demonstrated ability to identify and analyze all pertinent information/data to make and communicate decisions to meet the unit's current and future needs * Effective interpersonal and political acumen skills * Ability to establish a culture of integrity within their unit and with those external to the units * Strong knowledge of industry standards, trends and/or regulatory requirements * Excellent communication skills both oral and written * Skill in analyzing information, problems, situations and procedures to define objectives, identify patterns, and formulate conclusions * Skill in setting priorities, which accurately reflect the relative importance of job responsibilities * Ability to establish and maintain productive working relationships with faculty, residents, medical students and staff from various social, cultural and economic backgrounds * Skill in communication to clearly convey complex problems and proposals in both formal and informal situations * Knowledge of EPIC EHR (preferred)
