Job Description

Program Managers are concerned with the overall planning, directionand success of major programs, systems development efforts, and research or technologyinitiatives which have great significance to the activities and agency's needs. Programs aretypically large, multi-year efforts divided into several sub-programs/tasks. Program Managersare also responsible for the overall program definition, organization, and direction of short- and long-rangeplans. This includes the responsibility for formulating, guiding, and directing thetechnical approach; and defining and negotiation with activity and agency personnel fornecessary resources. Establishment and control of technical milestones, schedules, budgets andcosts are also essential tasks for the Program Manager.

Job Requirements
  • Bachelor's level degree in any technical or managerial discipline

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification

  • 15 years professional experience in program/project management
