Job Overview

The Maintenance Scheduler develops and maintains various schedules necessary to maintain an efficient workforce, most importantly the Weekly Work Schedule.

This position is contingent is upon contract award.


Responsibilities

Essential Duties & Job Functions:
  • Expedites the scheduling of safety-related work.
  • Coordinates with the Work Control Supervisor (WCS) to prioritize work for the Weekly Schedule.
  • Facilitates the Weekly Scheduling Meeting.
  • Obtains crew availability reports weekly from Maintenance Supervisors.
  • Develops the Weekly Work Schedule using 100% of resource availability.
  • Coordinates the weekly schedule with the customer for facility access.
  • Creates load balanced work schedules.
  • Verifies shop supervisors routinely accomplish higher priority work prior to lower priority work.
  • Coordinate outages required for scheduled work.
  • Coordinates availability of assets for scheduled Preventive Maintenance.
  • Coordinates availability of assets and facility access for scheduled work.
  • Reviews and updates long-range event calendars.
  • Works with the CGS Master Data Specialist to ensure a complete and accurate Asset.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

Mandatory:
  • US Citizen.
  • Possesses and maintains a valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Intermediate to advanced working knowledge of MS Software (Windows, Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.)
  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience in similar facility maintenance / operations.
  • Specialized training in Maintenance Scheduling practices and techniques.
  • Knowledge of similar facility operations.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to use project management applications and other resource scheduling applications.
  • Experience with Maximo or similar EAM systems.
