Exercise Training Integration Analyst

Summary: Provide exercise engagement training services at Fort Sam Houston, Texas, in support of G-3/5/7 collective training exercise mission requirements, U.S. Army Medical Center of Excellence (MEDCoE). The MEDCoE G-3/5/7 Exercise cell consists of three branches within the G-3/7 Exercise Division; each branch focuses on synchronizing, integrating and resourcing medical capabilities within exercises across the Department of Defense.

Job Description:

  • Review and analyze internal and external exercises taskings/directives for MEDCoE Equities
  • Manage, Coordinate, and Conduct Exercise Modernization Updates
  • Prepare and Review AARs, Minutes, and EXSUMS
  • Schedule, plan, and execute all MEDCoE Exercise Engagement Efforts updates based on MEDCoE Battle Rhythm
  • Staffing Coordination and Synchronization with External and Internal entities:
  • Analyze AARs/Minutes

Experience and Qualifications

  • Served as a 70H/COMPO 1-3 or Joint equivalent, (Health Svcs Plans, OPS, Intel, Sec, Tng)/Medical Planner, 70K/COMPO 1-3 or Joint equivalent (Health Services Material), 70D/COMPO 1-3 or Joint equivalent (Health Services System Management) or Senior NCO (COMPO 1-3) or Joint equivalent with Operational (OPS) experience (OPS NCO/Battle Staff qualified or equivalent training) and or Project Warrior experience.
  • Must have knowledge of unit collective training exercises, and Doctrine, Organization, Training, Material, Leadership, Education Development, Personnel, Facilities, and Policy (DOTMLPF-P), as it relates to the Army Modernization Strategy/Framework.
  • Must have working knowledge of the Army Regulation 350-28 (Army Exercise), Exercise Design Tool, and the Army's concept of conducting Multi-Domain Operations (MDO) as part of an integrated Joint Force. Knowledge of qualitative and quantitative techniques for analyzing operations issues, developing courses of actions using the Military Decision-Making Process (MDMP), and presenting prioritized options to higher management for decision.
  • Understand operations process.
  • Knowledge of Army Exercise Planning process. Ability to interpret basic plans, Army regulations, directives, policies, etc. of higher headquarters and local policies, procedures, staff, resources, organizations, and activities.
  • Be Familiar with the Following: AR 350-28 (Army Exercises), FM 3-0 (Operations), FM 3-90 (Offense and Defense), FM 4-0 (Sustainment), ADP 5-0 (Operations Process), FM 6-0 (Mission Command: Command and Control of Army Forces), FM 6-22 (United States Army), FM 7-0 (Training), TC 7-100 (Hybrid Threat), TC 7-101 (Exercise Design), Exercise Design Tool, Army Design Methodology: Operational Art in Combat, The Warfighter Exercise/WF Life Cycle, Mission Command Training Program (MCTP) and Army Lesson Learn Program.
  • SECRET Clearance required.
