Responsibilities:
This position is responsible for providing equipment repair services to respond to customer needs in a positive, caring, and timely manner. Build rapport with customers through expertise and quality service on equipment so that service value is received.
Job Description:
This position is responsible for performing inspection, diagnosis, and repair of heavy equipment undercarriage in the field. Will work alone or in teams. It will involve removing and installing complete undercarriages which include: tracks, roller frames, rollers, idlers, and sprocket segments. It will also require performing repairs on broken link assemblies which will include the use of a cutting torch, presses, and specialized tooling.
Qualifications:
A qualified candidate must have the following skills or abilities:
- Minimum 3-5 years of undercarriage repair and troubleshooting experience or Heavy Equipment Mechanical experience
- Must be proficient with computers. (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Must have a clean and valid driver's license. Must have CDL B.
- Must be a well-organized, thoughtful, and self-motivated person.
- Must have a steady employment history.
- Ability to frequently reach, bend, walk, etc.
- Able to stand for extended periods.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy is required.
- Must be capable of working in a fast-paced environment while adhering to HOLT CAT safety policies and guidelines.
- Must be highly organized and have excellent attention to detail.
- Must have excellent attendance and work performance.
- Must be self-motivated with a high commitment to completing tasks promptly.
- Must have common hand tools required in performing daily tasks.
