The Family and Child Studies (FCS) program in the Department of Individual, Family, and Community Education (IFCE)
Department at the UNM College of Education and Human Sciences invites applications for Part-time Instructors to teach
undergraduate courses within the Nutrition program. This posting will remain open and applicants will be selected as needed per
semester.

We are recruiting Part-Time Instructors in Nutrition who are eligible for all undergraduate classes offered in the Nutrition course catalogue, with an emphasis on PTI's who can cover undergraduate courses.

The UNM College of Education and Human Sciences is comprised of five academic departments, is a future-oriented, dynamic
professional school organized to reflect the following values: Advocacy, Building Professional Identities, Collaboration, Building
School/University Partnerships, Diversity and Social Justice, Interdisciplinary Inquiry/Scholarship, and Teaching, Learning and Leadership

Minimum Qualifications:

• Master's degree in nutrition by start date.
• Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) by start date.
• At least 1 year experience teaching nutrition or related area at the college or university level.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working with students of diverse cultural backgrounds.
• Experience teaching hybrid and online courses.
• A demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion, and student success, as well as working with broadly diverse communities.
