Role Summary and Purpose The Data Engineers role is to provide insight, recommendations, and reports to the operations and product development functions that improve productivity, efficiency, and cost. This role will be instrumental in:
  1. implementing product and process analytics solutions,
  2. developing and maintaining dashboards,
  3. supporting the transition towards cloud infrastructure, and
  4. creating automated analytics workflows.
Essential Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the Product Engineering, Device Engineering, and Manufacturing Operations teams to develop high-value analytics and workflow solutions that increase efficiency, reduce failures, enhance yield, identify product capabilities and characteristics, detect, and contain issues, model and predict production outcomes, and provide overviews and summaries to guide business decisions.
  • Administer enterprise data analytics software for internal customers: creation of report templates and custom scripts, integration of new data sources into existing databases, user training and support.
  • Develop, maintain, and improve ETL pipelines for product and process measurements, WIP updates, production flows and dispositions, and process configuration deliverables. Test data infrastructure to ensure reliability and validate analytics solutions to ensure accuracy.
Qualifications and Requirements
  • 3 - 5 years experience as a Data Analyst, Data Scientist, Data Engineer, or equivalent.
  • Ability to effectively communicate analytical process and conclusions clearly to management and engineering team.
  • Semiconductor experience in Wafer Fab, Assembly and Test operations is a plus.
  • Bachelor of Engineering Computer Science or equivalent.
