These positions are contingent upon contract award.
Responsibilities
Report to work in the proper uniform and maintain the appropriate uniform at all times while on duty.
Performs security guard duties.Must be able to enforce regulations and procedures designed to prevent breaches of security.
Must exercise judgment and use discretion in responding to incidents and emergencies.
Must have the ability to determine whether to intervene directly, ask for assistance as time permits, keeps situations under control or surveillance and to report the incident or situation to the appropriate authority for handling.
Must be able to work beyond 8 hours per day when required.
Must be able to work Day, Swing or Night shift as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Must be highly organized and have excellent oral and written communication skills in order to interface with personnel and other government agencies at all levels.
Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing.
Knowledge of office policies, practices and procedures.
Ability to work independently.
Required Qualifications
Must be a US citizen and obtain/posses/maintain a background suitability/adjudication through the Department of Justice (DOJ).
Must be a Certified Security Officer in the state of Texas.
